Our research mission
We believe women deserve hormone care that is evidence-informed, culturally relevant, and available in the languages they live in. Our work focuses on understanding how women experience the menopause transition — especially symptoms that are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or missed entirely — and translating that understanding into education clinicians and patients can both use.
Current projects
Bilingual symptom-pattern data
Aggregating de-identified assessment responses to map how perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms cluster across English- and Spanish-speaking women.
GSM recognition and care gaps
Documenting how often Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause is missed in primary care and what helps women get an accurate explanation.
Recurrent UTI in midlife
Tracking patterns in women treated repeatedly for UTIs without evaluation for the underlying hormonal contributor.
Future research initiatives
Quality-of-life impact studies
How untreated hormone symptoms affect work, intimacy, sleep, and overall function across diverse populations.
Health equity in menopause care
Examining language, regional, and racial disparities in access to menopause-literate clinicians and effective treatment.
Clinician education partnerships
Translating real patient experience into education materials for primary care providers and trainees.
